I made new Images in the last days - please tell me when you like them:

sexy girl Tina by zikay's original(no PS)

My wife and I took the Red Carpet LOTR Tour of New Zealand and it was the best time EVER. Highly recommend taking the tour with these people, they know everyone.

FYI the original Shire set was not completely struck, nor was it maintained - the sheep ranch where the Hobbiton shots were taken was allowed to keep the undressed facades of several hobbit holes after LOTR. Bag End was a bit more than a facade, you could actually sit inside the door and take pictures looking out - it only went into the hill about 6 feet.

Whoever ends up officially directing will have Peter Jackson and the Weta crew behind them and those people are passionate about getting the Hobbit exactly right.

I can't wait to take the tour again during the filing :-)

Re: Eldridge Cleaver – Why do you always bring up people's nationality? You're such a loser. Nice new username (Welcome to Costco) … another one of your usernames to add to your long list. Yes, you will probably deny it, but it is obvious as hell … you're the only loser on this board who would ever consider Gary an “american hero” … and such user just registered too. Every post of yours is negative. You are so unhappy and pessimistic … feel sorry for you, as I've said it many times. Going to end up alone.

The Top Gadgets Announced at CES 2010

June 10th, 2010 by cecilosborne1953

Technology always captivates consumers. Some of the best gadgets and technological advancements are introduced each year in the International CES in Vegas, really addressing new meaning in pioneer and intelligent devices.

The best gadgets announced at CES 2010, according to experts and consumer reviews, are the following:

a) Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid

Featuring fascinating notebooks with IdeaPad U1 Hybrid on the lead, Lenovo has really made a striking impression at this year's CES. Being the first PC in the industry that allows users to remove the screen and switch to a six-screen multitouch tablet that functions independently with its own processor and operating system, the IdeaPad U1 integrates Lenovo's Hybrid Switch technology allowing both PCs to function perfectly on the two processors effortlessly.

Featuring textured surface on the inside and a sleek, transparent dark red cover that cannot but capture the consumer's eye, the shiny round notebook comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon ARM processor in tablet mode, 11.6″ HD LED display, 4GB of memory RAM and 160GB storage capacity on the SSD running on Windows 7 Home Premium. When pulled out of its showcase, Lenovo switches to Skylight UI that functions as a detached tablet with an ARM processor running alongside Lenovo's customized Linux Skylight operating system.

The base, when detached, continues to work as its own Core 2 Duo SU41 opening up potential for the U1 to truly act as two devices in one. Both laptop and tablet modes support over 5 hours of 3G Web browsing and up to 60 hours of 3G standby. The tablet's edge-to-edge glass is comfortable and the chromed edges tempting, but some areas that need attention are the keyboard (too flat for Lenovo's standards), and perhaps ergonomics (notebook weight is 3.7 pounds, tablet weight is 1.6 pounds).

The Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is not expected to hit the market before June 1st, 2010, while its suggested retail price is $999.

b) Motorola Backflip smartphone

Scheduled for a global release at the Q1 2010, the Backflip comes with a 528-MHz Qualcomm MSM 7200A processor on Google Android 1.5 OS, 3.1″ touchscreen that natively supports 320 x 480 resolution, Wi-Fi, 3G and 5-megapixel camera. Besides, the device supports Moto Blur social-networking add-ons, Bluetooth and a 2GB memory card that can be expanded up to 32GB.

However, the best asset of the Backflip is its unique design. When it is closed, both the screen and the keyboard face out. The device can be flipped in a V-shape or totally flat to watch a movie or it can be used as a picture frame or alarm clock. When the device is open, it allows users to navigate on its touchscreen or use a trackball for navigation.

c) Sony HDR-XR550V camcorder

Featuring a 240GB HDD, 3.5″ LCD with 1920 x 1080 Full HD video recording, 12-megapixel still image capture with wide angle Sony G Lens with 10x optical zoom and Direct Copy feature, Sony HDR-XR550V camcorder is a unique camera that enable users to capture astonishingly smooth video from wide angle to full telephoto shooting.

Besides, the HDR-XR550V is a great device to experience low-light sensitivity with enhanced image clarity and considerably reduced grain due its revolutionary 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor. Designed exclusively for compact cameras and camcorders, the 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor is intended for shooting video in lower lighting conditions with superior results. Also, the Sony G Lens offers enhanced optical performance delivering bright, accurate color reproduction and sharp, astonishingly detailed images.

d) Panasonic VT25 Plasma HDTV

Panasonic announced the release of the new plasma VIERA VT25 Series that is expected to hit the market in the spring of 20102 and offers users the full HD 3D capability. The set will include one pair of 3D glasses for an unforgettable 3D experience and an active LC shutter system. What is even more impressive than offering the 3D glasses - at a time that no other manufacturer provides them - is that the left and the right lens of the glasses lightens and darkens successively and too quickly to be perceived, while the TV displays the corresponding left and right-eye-specific images at the same time. The result is Panasonic's 'Full HD 3D' content of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels for each eye.

Besides, the set features Skype video calling, Wi-Fi connection (optional), the option to add Pandora, Twitter, Netflix and Fox Sports to own content through VieraCast interactive suite and infinite Black Pro, among others.

It's totally weird… I know I can get to the camcorder from the camera icon. But a KNOW I saw an icon for "camcorder" early on when I flashed the 2.1 sprint upgrade… I was messing around and moving apps around. dragged it to the "trash" to put it back in the tray and it was GONE, as in not a widget, shortcut, tray app, etc…… The camcorder icon *is* different than the camera one, it has a small red dot on the side of the "lens" as I recall…

My OCD is driving me crazy over this one… lol

Claudia Schiffer and Karl Lagerfeld Are Attacked by Fashion Editor of Black Lifestyle Magazine for Photo of Schiffer, Blacked-Up

June 5th, 2010 by cecilosborne1953

I was photographing in the last months - please tell me what you think:

Dicke Wolken auf Asien Strasse by atena-w.

{Angesagte pinke Bikinis mit Triangel-Trägern im Online Shop ordern

Claudia Schiffer has been attacked for offending black people after posing on a magazine cover made up as a black woman. The 39-year-old German supermodel wore black foundation and an afro-style wig in the photograph taken by fashion designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld.

Lagerfeld had Schiffer made up as a black women in one of six photographs he took while putting together an advertising campaign for the vintage champagne Dom Perignon. The photos were published by German fashion magazine Stern Fotografie when it celebrated its 60th anniversary.

Accusations against Schiffer and Lagerfeld followed from Shevelle Rhule, the fashion editor of a London black lifestyle magazine, Pride. Ms Rhule said:

“It shows poor taste and it's offensive. There are not enough women of colour featured in mainstream magazines. This just suggests you can counteract the problem by using white models. I don't believe they deliberately set out to offend. They obviously see it as being arty and feel that they are pushing boundaries. But clearly no thought has been given to the history behind what they have done and the comparisons it draws with minstrel shows.”

To which I would reply: 'Shevelle, lighten up'. Her comment is the kind that perpetuates raw nerves about race and creates a path of spikey eggshells for people, black and white, to walk on. Society doesn't need race relations zealots, quangocrats or Pride fashion editors lecturing designers (or filmmakers or writers or rap singers…) on what they can or can't do. It's small-minded. Already an online magazine has responded to the photos with conformist knee-jerk political correctness by saying one of the other photos, of Schiffer as an Asian, is “just wrong”, scolding that Lagerfeld should have used more than one model in the interests of racial diversity.

Fashion, like fiction and film and other creative industries, should be free to play with any images it chooses. Did Ms Rhule also take offence at white French actor Gerard Depardieu recently playing mixed-race Alexander Dumas (using black make-up)? Or Eddie Murphy impersonating a white (jewish) person? Or black British actor Adrian Lester who played the white Danish prince, Hamlet? Or the black actor, David Oyelowo, who played white English king Henry VI?

Would she criticise images of Bob Dylan or the Rolling Stones dressed up as women? How about pantomime dames, women actors dressed as men, Eddie Izzard in frock and lipstick, comedians pretending to be children…?

As soon as you get into determining whether blacks can play whites and women can play men but not the other way round, you're proscribing the creative process and engaging in censorship. Clamping down on the arts in that way (even commercial arts like advertising) is as restricting as squashing free speech.

As for Rhule's comment that Lagerfeld and Schiffer were suggesting the photograph of a 'black' Schiffer would substitute for using black models in mainstream magazines - that's just plain foolish. Rhule then seems to have chucked minstrels into the discussion just for shock value.

In fact the photo was one of a series of six in which Lagerfeld was playing with Schiffer's image. Another showed her as a secretary, a third as an Asian woman. In a fourth she was dressed and made up as eighteenth century French queen, Marie Antoinette and in a fifth she was androgynous. The fashion shoot theme was fantasy and imagination. Lagerfeld wanted to play with Schiffer's face and Shiffer's image. He didn't want to use other models. He wasn't trying to portraying racial diversity - he was portraying imaginary Claudia Schiffers. And has every right to.

A spokesman for Lagerfeld responded to Rhule's criticism, saying she was taking them out of context: “The images were designed to reflect different men's fantasies. The pictures were not intended to offend, they were done very creatively and are some of Karl Lagerfeld's favourite images of Claudia. People should not jump to conclusions.”

Yet there are many people with vested interests in Britain and other liberal democracies who make a good living from jumping to conclusions and playing the race card in cases which can only trivialise genuine instances of racism. Political correctness about race and ethnicity has battened onto society like a barnacle on a boat. It would be a democratic step forward if those who have a professional interest in taking offence at 'racism' and other -isms would pick their battles more wisely.

It would also be good if the race relations industry ditched the term “people of colour”. What is it supposed to indicate?! What colour? Black? Dark brown? Sienna? All those and more? Does it imply that white people - with their variously pink, peachy, creamy, olive-toned, ugly red, bluey-white, brown or orangey skin - have no colour? Why aren't whites called “people of non-colour” then? Or “people of no-colour”?

Black and white are just words. They're quick and easy terms to use for those who want or need to indicate skin colour and they're neutral. People (like Ms Rhule perhaps) who want to take offence at one (and not the other) always will. But they're misguided. Countering racism is always worth doing. But cranking up and maintaining raw nerves unnecessarily does no-one any good. It just increases division between black and white and injects a zealous, scolding tone into debate which would benefit from more freedom, less 'sensitivity' and - in a case like the Schiffer/Lagerfeld photos - a bit of playfulness.

Traditional photographers create wedding images that are mostly posed and scripted and where the photographer takes posed pictures of the entire family and/or bridal party together. Usually, high level of the intrusion is involved. Sometimes there is a great amount of frustration is also involved because of the artificial posing. Wedding Photography generally means informal photojournalism and photographers usually aim for catching original moments through candid shots from a distance.

Digital Wedding Photography is a form of contemporary photography that uses digital technology to make images of subjects. Until the advent of such technology, photography used photographic film to create images which could be made visible by photographic processing. By contrast, digital photographs can be displayed, printed, stored, manipulated, transmitted, and archived using digital and computer techniques, without chemical processing. Digital photography is one of several forms of digital imaging. Digital images are also created by non-photographic equipment such as computer tomography scanners and radio telescopes. Digital images can also be made by scanning conventional photographic images. The advantages of digital wedding photography faster post-production, negatives can be obtained in the form of a DVD or CD which don’t erode over the years. Digital photographs can be more easily posted online or sent via an email. They can be posted on Facebook or Myspace in 2 minutes. Generally, more wedding photos can be taken on the day of the wedding because it doesn’t use expensive film. Artistic Wedding Photography generally involves more post production to edit the photos to achieve artistic angles, blur, colors and lighting to create the WOW effect. This is the complete opposite to documentary wedding photography.

Wedding photojournalism (Florida and Miami is covered for free by Haring Photography) branches away from traditional photography and is becoming more and more popular in the wedding industry. It allows the day to pass by as usual while the photographer captures bridal pictures without any involvement in the composition of the photograph. Wedding photojournalism is originally derived from news photography, where the photographer captures an event like a watching bystander. Contact me if you are curious about Florida wedding photojournalism (Miami).

Documentary Photography The photographer attempts to produce objective, truthful, and usually candid photography of a particular subject, most often pictures of people. Documentary wedding photography is opposite to artistic wedding photography and it is correlated with informal wedding photojournalism. It mostly involves taking the pictures in a method to capture the day without any bias or modification. Documentary photographers generally concentrate on capturing the moment as it is. The images reflect the natural undisturbed activities of the day without artificial poses. The photographer documents the day in its natural flow. Emotions are more natural without acting.

This is a segment I do every week, in which I find the most alluring photographs on the internet and post them up for your viewing pleasure. Some people find landscape photography boring, but I find it beautiful and inspiring. You can look at previous weeks by clicking on the tag at the bottom of the post.

The Top 7 Father's Day Gift Ideas for the Technophobe Dad!

June 4th, 2010 by cecilosborne1953

Rooney FIFA 08 - EA Sports - Wieden+Kennedy - 2007 by juje80bis

We all know that Father's Day is a brilliant chance to show your dad how much you love and appreciate him, but it brings a major dilemma with it. Men, and especially fathers, are notoriously difficult to buy for. This especially applies if your father is a technophobe because the majority of Father's Day gift ideas are electronic goods.

Well, if your dad is a technophobe and you are struggling for Father's Day gift ideas, look no further than the top 7 technophobe gifts below!

  1. A Fussball Table - This is the perfect gift for a technophobe dad because there is absolutely no technology involved. The game is fun and can be enjoyed by the whole family, especially if you happen to be competitive. It will also no doubt take him back to his youth! The cheapest ones cost as little as $50 so it is an absolute bargain too!
  2. Tickets To A Soccer/Basketball/Baseball Match - For the sporty dad, tickets to a sports event can provide a memorable experience that he will not forget for years to come. This Father's Day gift idea is difficult to top in future years but need not be expensive. Some tickets are as little as $10 a piece, although you might want to throw in a hotdog as well for good measure!
  3. A Universal Remote - No technophobe dad wants to use one remote for the TV, another for the DVD player and a third for Tivo/Sky so get him a universal remote. At $20 to $25 for a really good one, he can enjoy all of his TV shows with no difficulty at all.
  4. A Sports Car For A Day - You can now rent sports car for a couple of hours or even a whole day for upwards of $200. This is a pricey but fabulous present that could help your technophobe dad to live all of his childhood dreams and pose for a while. It's the stuff dreams are made of!
  5. Prehistoric Man Gifts - You can actually buy these on the Internet at http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/p/pre-historic_man_gifts.asp. They are hilarious cartoons that feature cavemen making jokes about inventions like the wheel. If you want to have a bit of fun with your technophobe dad and make him laugh then this is a must!
  6. A Personalized Number Plate - These would vary in price but they are very safe as far as Father's Day gift ideas are concerned. What man would not want his very own number plate for his car to show off with?
  7. The Dummies Guide To The Internet - Obvious but necessary! Your father could have hours of fun on the Internet if he knew how to use it so invest $20 and get him the book that will teach him to do just that!

Even if you do not get your father any of the above, your Father's Day gift ideas should be original and relevant if you really want to show you care. One word of advice though - avoid socks at all costs!

Photography isn't just about making memories, it's about art. Be artistic. Here are a few tips and tricks to help you make those photos, picture perfect.

To make those dull photos turn into works of art, consider these questions:
Decide if you want the full subject, half, or even a close up. How much background do you want, or even foreground? Exactly how close do you want that close up? What details do you want to focus on? Do you want a vertical, horizontal, or tilted photograph? What angle do you want? What's the best lighting? What background do you want to use?

1. Placing the subject of interest. Choose how much of the subject you want photographed. (Example: you want full body, half body, or face shot.) If your subject fills the frame then it's okay to center it. If you are trying to get more of the background, try placing your subject to the right or left in the viewfinder. With a horizontal (laying down), try to place them at the top for more foreground, or at the bottom for more background. And you could even tilt the camera for a more funky picture. It all depends on what part of the scenery you want visible in the picture. Maybe you want that tree to your left and your subject to the right. Or the patch of flowers in front and the mountains in back. (I find it best to take my time and take shots of each possible way and several different poses. This way I know I'll find the best photograph with the most potential.)

2. Don't center. The circle, plus sign, or brackets in the middle of your viewfinder is for focusing and isn't necessarily for centering the subject. Placing your subject in t he circle could leave you with a lot of empty and useless space on your photograph. Too much background and not enough subject. If your subject fills the frame then it is okay to center them. (Sometimes you just have to ignore the focus points and concentrate on your subjects placement in the frame instead.)

3. Camera angles. Walk around the subject, shoot from all angles and sides. This will help you to get the best lighting, background, and different aspects of the subject. You will want to find the best angle for all three. Pick a background that will not distract your viewers from the subject of interest. (I choose my backgrounds to where there's not much clutter. Sometimes I will use a plain sheet or blanket and place it behind the subject, but making sure it does not clash or blend.)

4. Reflectors. In some situations you just can't get enough light or you perhaps you just want more. To use a light reflector, place it in a position where it reflects light onto the subject without it getting in the frame. Use this if your shot is coming out too dark or there are too many shadows. On night shots that you need more than your flash can put out, place a lamp (or several) near your subject, but out of sight, and use the light reflectors to bounce from the lamps to where needed. (Some homemade light reflectors can be real cheap to make. You could use white cardboard, or if you can't find this, then simply take any piece and paint it white. For more light, place tin foil over your piece of cardboard, smooth it out, and reflect where needed.)

5. Shading. Using the same piece of cardboard as mentioned above, you can use this to block the light as well. You could make this easier by painting one side white and the other black. Or just place the piece in front of the lamp or sun to dismiss light from your subject. On most cameras you can use a sunshade for the lens, some cameras come with this, some you buy separate. This won't keep light from your subject, but it will block the light from causing a flare effect on the outcome of your photograph. The sunshade just clicks into place around your lens, and keeps the lens safe from any glaring.

6. Outside daylight. Direct sunlight is when you place the sun behind the camera, but in front of the subject. Using direct sunlight can cause shadows on the subjects face and possibly their eyes squinting. Back light is when the sun is behind the subject and in front of the camera. This will lighten the photo and cause much softer features on the subject.

7. Preventing red eye. Red eye is caused when the flash is too close to the lens. Ways to prevent this are: Attach a larger flash to your camera, t his way the flash is further from the lens. Or if buying a camera, look for one with the flash located far from the lens. Try getting closer to your subject when needing the flash. (Before I bought my camera with built in red eye correction, I had to use a photo editing program to correct these problems. I was even scanning my pictures and still having to edit when I was using my film camera that was hopeless against red eye.)

Sadly on this day we mark the passing of a dear friend: my Friend is not deceased but has merely transitioned away from Fulfilled Eschatology. Yes, another full preterist has strayed from the herd. Not to fear, people change beliefs every day. Does this go to disprove Fulfilled Eschatology? Sadly; for many, no it does not. What it does signify is that someone is re-examining their beliefs & understandings of items related to Eschatology, and has decided that (for now?) things remain which can not be reconciled between the Bible, History and his current thought processes.

I have had several discussions with him on a multitude of subjects and believe him to be genuinely interested in finding what convinces him of his own personal biblical understanding; that which he accepts as truth. Continued Fellowship among the Brethren should not be at issue with this recent transition, nor should animosity or discord be a result of this change. (on either side of the issue) Many who venture away from Fulfillment are lured into new groups which are made up of, or contain, many other Former Fulfillment believers who have returned to their former doctrinal and/or dogmatic stances and now feel the need not only to reject the idea of fulfillment, but to attack it as a virus, plague or damnable heresy.

Such people refer to us as “Not Christian” or even going so far as to state that we “Hate Christianity, God, Christ & Scripture” simply because we disagree over doctrinal and/or dogmatic issues. These are not our own stated beliefs but instead are presuppositions on behalf of our critics and I therefore reject these types of critique as merely ad-hom attacks or character assassinations to discredit us and alert others to steer clear of those “over-throwing or subverting the faith” again, through presupposition on behalf of those countering our arguments.

Eschatology is a topical Issue & discussion and should never be seen as a Salvational, Salvific or Soteriological argument. Disagreements over items such as Audience Relevance & Time statements are not attacks on the words of God, nor are they denials of plainly written scriptures. Each person stands convicted in their beliefs for a myriad of reasons and among these, are interpretations, hermeneutics, outside influences, prayer, thought, feeling, intent, emotion, want, need, traditions, history, creeds, confessions, synods, councils, edicts, papal bulls, essays, commentaries, biographies, and more.

Disagreeing with the wording on the differences between the Literal-Natural or Literal-Spiritual is not a disagreement with scripture, its message or the character of the speaker, writer, subject or author: These are all disagreements on matters of doctrines & dogma and should never be confused with Soteriological issues. Invariably; when Eschatology is seen as a Salvational issue or item, it gives the aggressor a sense of entitlement or empowerment, which then in turn inflames the pride & ego and more often than not, someone's Salvation or standing in eternity is undoubtedly questioned, doubted, believed, approved, denied or challenged. This is neither how Christ taught his disciples to treat our Brethren or our Enemies.

Some seek to find a third level in this equation, which simply can not be done. Christ simplified it in these words “for he that is not against us is for us” and this is the line that has been drawn in the sand between many within the Futurist & Fulfilled paradigms in Eschatology. I am against no man, woman or child. I am against ideas & beliefs held by people. I hate no man, woman or child. I do not hate Jew, Muslim, Arab or Greek: I harbor no animosity towards Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, Mormons, Messianic, Judaizer, Buddhist, Hindu, Amish, Quaker or Mennonite.

My own personal doctrinal or dogmatic (personal preferences) views within the realm of Fulfilled Eschatology (Eschatology: The Study of the Last Things) must first take a backseat to Audience Relevance & Time Statements associated with the events surrounding the Parousia; 2nd Coming or Return of Christ. I believe many are placing the kart before the horse in matters of how Introductory Fulfilled Eschatology should be approached or taught. Many who believe in Fulfilled Eschatology believe that understanding the various natures (Literal-Natural-Physical or Literal-Spiritual) of how things took place, brings people into a better or quicker acceptance of the Audience Relevance & Time Statements. I beg to differ drastically.

If I were to tell you that: A) there was going to be an Eclipse at 2:00 AM on the East Coast of the United States, and provided you understood Eastern Standard Time-EST, would you not immediately deduce that I was speaking of a Lunar and not a Solar Eclipse? Conversely; if I were to tell you that: B) there was going to be a Lunar Eclipse on the East Coast of the United States; without additional information, you would not know the time of the eclipse until it happened. Which road is quicker?

If you were to leave your house on a trip that normally takes 12 hours one way, and you arrive 2 hours early, do you not gain an additional 120 minutes of time?

Being stuck in the endless mire of how did this happen, when did this happen or where did this happen, on all the different aspects involved in Eschatology, before a person is convinced all is fulfilled, is enough to give any sane person cause for alarm. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line and this is what is revealed through proper examination, consideration & digestion of the Audience Relevance & Times Statements, as they appear and as you first read them. Free of presupposition or simply an obstinate NO! The Natural Reading & Flow of the Scriptures all point to Fulfillment of the included Eschatological events, within not only a; or one (1) generation, but that it would all be fulfilled within that/their generation.

Allowing that this presupposition generates this myriad of questions as to the various natures in answer to the Literal-Natural-Physical or Literal-Spiritual Nature of how did this happen, when did this happen or where did this happen, on all the different aspects involved in Eschatology, before a person is convinced all is fulfilled: The simplistic acceptance on faith, through only the Audience Relevance & Times Statements, now allows & affords one the luxury of investigating the various natures in answer to the Literal-Natural-Physical or Literal-Spiritual Nature of how did this happen, when did this happen or where did this happen, on all the different aspects involved in Eschatology, in calmer waters within themselves because they feel less threatened and intimidated by the information examined & accepted, and the outsiders who are convinced you must be mad for adopting such a system of belief.

Is it possible for you to imagine a world with no threat of Armageddon & the Annihilation of the Human Race, and the assurance of God that the Human Race will always exist, and that this planet itself, will always exist? One who believes in God must first ask themselves these questions: Could God, at this very moment, end it all or start over with mankind? Has there ever been a time, since God created mankind, when he couldn't?

Doesn't it make sense to accept “The Kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord” as not only a past belief, modern day reality or future event, but rather as an eternal truth? Even the (Greek) Verb Tense in are become is in the Indicative Voice: Meaning no present, past or future tense is applied or implied but is rather simply a stated fact of that which has always been and will eternally remain. Can you imagine a time when God was ever or would ever be powerless over his creation? The answer here lies simply in accepting what has always been known and is reality to God and not to give in to fleshly, worldly or carnal thinking, in matters of eternity.

Audience Relevance & Time Statements are the absolute GOLD in Introductory Eschatology: Without them, man would be forever stuck in conjecture, fantasy & speculation. With them left alone and as they appear, one can only come to the conclusion that these events are things that would take place, be consummated, introduced and/or realized in the 1st Century.

The mistake in critiquing this analysis immediately can turn sour with presumptive statements such as: “This is Heaven“? or “This is the best it's ever going to get“? or “If this is New Jerusalem, I'm throwing out my Bible and I want a refund of everything I've invested in believing such nonsense” Accepting and believing the Audience Relevance & Time Statements is only the beginning of the journey: wanting complete & total revelation from these two items alone is not possible, but in accepting that now means now and shortly means shortly, one's journey into the “how did this happen, when did this happen or where did this happen, on all the different aspects involved in Eschatology” becomes a more, hassle-free venture.

According to the Book of Revelation; all things to be consummated, finished and/or reconciled, happen prior to the New Heaven/New Earth. I believe a simple review and understanding of Matthew 5:17-18 reveals whether or not this event has happened.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled

Christ said not one thing from the Law & Prophets would pass; until it was all fulfilled: Then and only then, would Heaven & Earth pass. Has anything from the Law & Prophets passed? “But Christ removed the need for a physical Temple, Altar, Sacrifice, Levitical Priesthood & Physical Circumcision, right?” Are these items contained within, among or around the jots & tittles of the Law & Prophets? Can any (individually) be removed before Heaven & Earth pass?

Within Religion, Within Christianity, Within Eschatology, Within Partial Preterist, Historicist, Full Preterist/ Fulfilled Eschatology or even within the 12 Major Schools of thought within Futurist Eschatology: (Pre-Millennialism, A-Millennialism, Post-Millennialism, Pre-Trib Rapture, Mid-Trib Rapture, Post-Trib Rapture, No Rapture, Pre-Wrath, Post-Wrath, Dispensationalism, Zionism & Mid-Acts) there is entirely too much Doctrine & Dogma fighting over little issues. This animosity and hatred has to stop, at least among those that call themselves Christian

If we can all learn to separate Salvation from Doctrine, We would all have a more harmonious experience figuring it all out. Before this step can be taken, before this challenge can be set forth, you must break you!

My Focus on matters of Faith Center around Christ, Christos, the Anointed and/or Anointing. Salvation is a matter of accepting what is: Hebrews 10:14 says “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified” everything else is doctrine & dogma: Nothing more than Feeling, emotions, wants & needs.

Right or wrong is not the issue in matters of Eschatology and NEVER should be. IT IS NOT ABOUT YOU OR ME! It's not about the information you or I discover or believe, but it is what you & I do with that information that counts!

Time is but broken segments of eternity that when collective, is timeless.

After some struggles to earn promotion to the Bundesliga 1, Munich 1860 signed another American, reports Kicker. Striker, Josh Wolff, will be relied on to score goals in close matches to help the team escape second division soccer.

The Lions are currently only four points short of earning promotion. The team counts on a strong backline led by American defender, Gregg Berhalter, who appeared for the U.S. National Team in World Cups 2002 and 2006.

The former captain of Energie Cottbus helped the East German team climb into the Bundesliga 1 last season, only to remain in the Bundeliga 2 by signing with Munich 1860.

Wolff will join his American comrade after several successful campaigns in Major League Soccer. Wolff was a Fire original and played 84 matches for Chicago. While in the Windy City, the young striker tallied 32 goals.

After his success in Chicago, the Georgia native moved to Kansas City to play for the Wizards. While with the Wizards, Wolff put in 27 goals in 80 matches.

In 2003, Wolff suffered a meniscus tear and ankle injury which slowed his blistering pace significantly. However, the forward finished his last three MLS seasons healthy. Wolff scored 25 goals in the past three seasons with the Wizards and all but maxed out his salary under the league's tight cap.

Like most European teams, 1860 only signed the striker to an 18 month contract. The reasons for the short contract are multi-fold.

Few European teams will give any player pushing 30 more than a one year deal. The belief is by that age most players, especially forwards, are finished. Wolff is 29.

Munich 1860 also struggles with budget issues. Despite the team's recent success, previous pushes toward the “Big Show” have hurt Munich's funds. The team simply can't afford to issue a big contract.

Wolff is an American. Although signing American players is becoming more common in Europe, it is still viewed as a gamble. Despite appearing in two World Cups, Munich will keep in mind that he only scored once in both.

For Wolff, this move is elementary. His salary is largely fixed in the MLS, and he's still fairly young. For the forward to start preparing for retirement, he needed to go abroad. This move will help him further develop his on-field smarts and ideally help him establish a comfortable nest egg.

I haven't weighed in on Peter Beinart's silly essay in the New York Review of Books. Shmuel Rosner though, asked Beinart a few questions. Beinart's answers show that he's ignorant of what Israel is. In particular, Beinart, in one of his responses says:

I don't think they're irrelevant. You're obviously right that the failure of the Oslo process moved Israeli politics to the right. (Although it always bugs me when people who clearly opposed Barak's willingness to give back most of the West Bank turn around and use Arafat's rejection of that offer as a reason to oppose land for peace, when they were palpably against it in the first place). But Arafat hasn't been around for a while now (thank goodness). Instead, you have in Abbas, and particularly Fayyad, far better Palestinian leaders in the West Bank. And yet settlement growth continues essentially unabated (even this year, despite the supposed partial “ban”) and this Israeli government is clearly hostile to the notion of a Palestinian state (despite Netanyahu's mouthing of the words under US pressure, which Tzipi Livni rightly declared a sham). I can understand the disillusionment in Israel after Camp David and Taba, but it seems wildly counterproductive to use that disillusionment as a reason to foreclose the possibility that a new, better, Palestinian leadership might accept the kind of parameters that Arafat rejected.

Maybe Israel moved a little to the right in the last election. But, as I've written many times, Israel's political landscape is significantly to the left of where it was even 15 years ago. The Palestinians despite the territory and legitimacy they've been granted still deny the right for Israel to be a Jewish state. And yes, that's true even of the so-called moderates whom Beinart lauds.

Gil Troy had an excellent response to Beinart:

Increasingly, championing Israel was deemed “conservative.” The timing was particularly ironic, amid Israel's Gaza withdrawal, then Ehud Olmert's centrist government offering the Palestinians generous concessions. Clearly, as a modern capitalist consumerist society Israel is not the socialist workers' paradise David Ben-Gurion imagined. Israel remains vexed - and tarred - by the continuing Palestinian conflict. Israel's current governing right-wing coalition includes some parties that have taken appalling anti-democratic positions. And Israel occasionally does stupid things, such as banning Noam Chomsky from the West Bank (then rescinding the ban).

Still, this wave of articles paints Israel not as leaning rightward but as abandoning democracy. These shrill attacks ignore the many counter-balancing forces - and Netanyahu's own centrist shifts. Avigdor Lieberman is an unpopular, straitjacketed foreign minister, often bypassed. Still, he attracts more attention than moderates like the urbane, cosmopolitan Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor.

In neo-conning Israel critics overlook Arab illiberalism. Peter Beinart correctly notes that many young Jews resent hearing about Palestinian terrorism, incitement and intransigence. Casting the Arabs as the victims and Israel as the aggressor constitutes one of the greatest con jobs in modern politics.

Beinart confuses liberalism with virtue. Beinart refuses to credit to Israel for any concessions Israel made - often with devastating results. These results were often at odds with what Beinart and his ilk predicted. If in 1990 you had said “Over the next 20 years Israel will withdraw from major Palestinian population areas, including all of Gaza and after all of these withdrawals the Palestinians will still promote terror and deny Jewish statehood and the world will still blame Israel for failing to make peace” the likely response even from someone like Beinart would have been, “If Israel would do all that, terrorism would stop and if it didn't stop the world would be sympathetic to Israel.”

Instead Beinart decided that no concession is ever enough unless it makes the Palestinians happy giving the irredentists veto power over peace. The irony with Beinart's view is that it is decidedly illiberal.

The World Cup 2010 taking place in South Africa is now only weeks away, starting on June 11 with the final match of the tournament on June 11. The big build-up is starting in different ways all over the world, but in the host country of South Africa people have been celebrating in a very special way.

The first match at the rebuilt Soccer City stadium took place featuring the South African Cup Final between Johannesburg’s Bidvest Wits and Durban’s Amazulu leading to a 3-0 win for Johannesburg. It was the final stadium of ten being used for the World Cup 2010 to be unveiled and Soccer City will not only be holding the opening match of the tournament, but also the big final itself, according to BBC News.

Soccer City, also known as the Calabash is now South Africa’s biggest football ground and will hold nearly 95,000 spectators when the tournament begins. The ground lies between Johannesburg and Soweto and was officially unveiled by President Jacob Zuma.

There were a staggering 3 million tickets available for the World Cup Finals this year, and more than 2.5 million have already been sold, with South Africans buying over a million tickets. If the standard of football at the World Cup this year anywhere near matches the enthusiasm of the South African people for the tournament, then it will certainly live up to expectations.

For more on this go to BBC News. Are you looking forward to World Cup 2010? What do you think about South Africa hosting the tournament? We’d be interested to hear your comments.
